What questions do you get from patients/parents on COVID and return to school?

Anxious parents want to keep the kids at home until they are fully vaccinated. They want to know why we can’t give the vaccine to younger kids and whether their pre-teen/younger teen will be able to get both doses before school starts in August.

Yes, I agree. I’ve had a few parents with similar concerns. But in my practice I have not seen this to be terribly common, though. Do you have a lot? With those parents I’ve just been trying to discuss the benefits (vs. risks) of returning to school. (On a personal note our youngest is not old enough for the vaccine and I can hardly wait for the vaccine to be approved in younger age groups myself!)
