Dr. Wilcox is a general pediatrician in private practice at Monterey Peninsula Pediatric Medical Group in Monterey. She moved to the Monterey Peninsula with her family in 2016 from Tucson, Arizona  after years of visiting the area and falling in love with the ocean, the coast, the forest and the community. After completing her pediatric residency, Dr. Wilcox worked part-time while her children were young, first at a private practice and then at community health center in Tucson, Arizona. She then returned to the University of Arizona to serve as faculty in the Department of General Pediatrics where she worked until her family decided to move to Monterey.

She is honored to serve as Area Director for Monterey County and its neighboring region. Specific interests include resilience, child abuse prevention, infants and children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, pediatric nutrition and obesity. She also served as part of the Obesity Task Force for her local AAP Chapter while in Tucson.

Dr. Wilcox is currently involved as part of the BeSmart Advisory Panel for Monterey County that focuses on gun safety.

Dr. Wilcox loves good books, good films, running, yoga, eating yummy food, traveling and spending time with her husband and three daughters.
