Position Details:

Rural pediatrician needed. Full time is 3 days a week in clinic plus call. The schedule is flexible. Compensation is competitive with multiple student loan repayment options available, including PSLF.

Northern Inyo Healthcare District needs a medical provider available to care for pediatric outpatients, newborns, pediatric inpatients, attend deliveries, and provide consultation as requested. Certification in PALS/NRP required.

Position Details:
• Newborn census is 0-3; inpatient pediatric census is 0-1.
• Northern Inyo Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital with 25 inpatient beds, 5 of which are L&D and 16 Med/Surg.
• The outpatient clinic is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, closed daily from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm for lunch.
• Clinic volumes are 16 to 18 patients per day, with 2 to 3 exam rooms for each pediatrician, onsite lab, medical assistants, and RNs.
• Call is shared with two other pediatricians.
• Cerner Community Works EHR is fully implemented in the hospital and the outpatient pediatric clinic.

Financials & Benefits:
• Estimated 1099 salary is $240,000-275,000. Opportunity for additional compensation based on schedule.
• Option to be a W-2 employee, which includes benefits.
• Northern Inyo Hospital provides malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
• Multiple student loan repayment options available, including Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) and up to $60,000 in student loan assistance. Options also available through the state of California.
