Job Description:
UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals Division of Pediatric Pain, Palliative and Integrative Medicine. The Division of Pediatric Pain, Palliative and Integrative Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at UCSF and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals is recruiting faculty at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in the Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence series. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and established fellowship training program. This position may have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses and would actively contribute to the Department’s mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD, DO, or equivalent; eligible for California licensure
- Demonstrated interest in pediatric pain, palliative care, and/or integrative medicine
- Commitment to excellence in education
- Preferred Qualifications: Board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics, Pain Medicine, Palliative Care, or Integrative Medicine, Experience in teaching and supervising learners, evidence of scholarship, program development, or quality improvement initiatives
Salary and Benefits:
For positions ≥51% effort, see Table 5; reasonable range: $114,100–$344,400. For positions ≤50% effort, see Table 2; reasonable range: $81,500–$246,000. Additional compensation may apply under the health sciences compensation plan.
