Alexandria Valdrighi, MD, FAAP – Immigrant Health Task Force Chair

I am a second year pediatric neurology resident at UCSF. I grew up in Sacramento, completed my undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Pomona College and attended medical school at the University of Nebraska. My clinical interests include epilepsy, concussions, medical education and advocacy. Within advocacy, supporting immigrant health is one area very important to me after watching the struggles of my patients throughout medical school and residency. These experiences influenced me to help create the AAP CA-1 Immigrant Health Task Force in order to unify the efforts of Northern California healthcare systems to support immigrant families.  Outside of work, my hobbies include swimming, volleyball and running.
