Heyman Oo, MD, MPH, FAAP – Advocacy Committee Chair
Dr. Oo is a primary care pediatrician at Marin Community Clinics (MCC) in Novato, CA which is a federally qualified health center and certified patient centered medical home. She is the current AAPCA1 Advocacy Committee co-chair. Dr. Oo grew up in the Bay Area, earned her BA in Psychology and Neuroscience from Yale University, Doctorate in Medicine from University of California San Diego and Masters in Public Health from Harvard University’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Healthcare Policy and Administration. She is passionate about public health advocacy, social justice, reversing the effects of toxic stress and helping every child, regardless of social circumstances, reach their full potential.
