Job Description:
The Division of General Pediatrics, Department of Pediatrics, UCSF, seeks full-time and part-time faculty at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks in the Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, and In Residence series. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Faculty will join a major academic medical center and established training program, with potential clinical duties at both San Francisco and Oakland campuses, contributing to excellence in research, education, and patient care.
Salary and Benefits:
For ≥51% effort: Table 5; minimum base salary $114,100–$344,400, plus potential health sciences compensation plan earnings (APM-670).
For ≤50% effort: Table 2; estimate $81,500–$246,000.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Medical degree
• Eligibility for or possession of a valid California medical license
• CA medical license (eligible/active)
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
• Interest in clinical pediatrics and education
Preferred:
- Post-residency general pediatrics experience
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary work
- Teaching/supervising learners
- Commitment to patient-focused, equitable care
