Jihey Yuk – Sacramento Valley Area Director
Dr. Jihey Yuk is a general pediatrician currently practicing and teaching at the University of California, Davis. She completed medical school at the University of Hawaiʻi John A. Burns School of Medicine and her residency training at UC Davis. Her clinical work has focused on serving vulnerable populations in the region, with expertise in caring for children in foster care and evaluating child physical abuse.
Dr. Yuk served as one of the general pediatrician child abuse specialists at UC Davis for four years. She also served as the medical director for CIRCLE Clinic, a medical home based out of a local FQHC that serves children and families currently involved with, or at risk of becoming involved with, child welfare services. In this role, she helped expand clinic capacity and worked closely with local child welfare services and public health nurses to improve patient care coordination.
