Christy earned her medical degree in the Dominican Republic and has a strong interest in pediatric care and clinical research. Now based in California, she is preparing for the pediatric residency Match while gaining experience in the U.S. healthcare system. Her recent roles include working as a research assistant and volunteering with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Organization for Rare Disorders. She has also served as a Spanish medical interpreter for U.S. medical missions to underserved communities in the Dominican Republic. Her goal is to complete a pediatric residency in the U.S. and contribute to child health through clinical care, community outreach, and research.
