Pacific Pediatrics Medical Group, San Francisco California has an opening for a qualified Pediatrician (Board Eligible/Board Certified) with consideration for a permanent position.  We have served the children of San Francisco for more than 30 years with two offices in the city, staffed by seven full and part-time physicians. As a partner practice with UCSF Medical Foundation– we provide care using UCSF’s EHR- APEX/EPIC system and administrative support.
We are also active members of the CPMC (Sutter) pediatric department. Our pediatricians round at CPMC for well newborns and coordinate care with the NICU, PICU and Ward.  Pediatric Specialists services for in- and out-patient are provided by pediatric specialists from Lucille Packard/Stanford who practice at CPMC. Duties are predominantly outpatient providing primary care for well and sick children in our two San Francisco offices.   Shared night and weekend call include rounding at CPMC on newborns and hospitalized children for permanently employed physicians which is about one week in five. Call includes being available for back-up consultation for the  first line after-hours nurse advice line, labs results and the pediatric after-hours urgent care clinics or ERs affiliated with UCSF and CPMC. Our physicians have had leadership roles both in the AAP and in the civic life of the city and community.  We believe in supporting associate colleagues to engage in children’s healthcare  beyond the walls of our practice.
