Description:
Under the primary direction of the CMS Administrator, the Physician Ill works primarily in the CCS program with occasional consultation and support required to the HCPCFC, and MPCAH sections. In the CCS program, the (Physician Ill) Medical Consultant provides specialized pediatric clinical expertise, consultation, and collaboration to a multi-professional team within CCS of nurses, social workers, therapists, as well as paneled community providers, other county medical consultants, and state representatives.
Under administrative direction, this position provides professional specialized medical or psychiatric diagnostic and therapeutic specialized consultation to staff in programs
throughout the Family Health Services Division; provides technical assistance in program development and medical consultation; assists in policy and protocol development, quality assurance and implementation of program standards; and performs related duties as required.
