This webinar will provide practical, evidence‑based guidance on the treatment of LTBI in children and adolescents. Dr. Kristen Wendorf, a pediatrician and Public Health Medical Officer with the California Department of Public Health Tuberculosis Control Branch, will review current LTBI treatment recommendations, age‑specific considerations, and best practices for supporting families through evaluation and therapy.

Speaker Bio: Dr. Kristen Wendorf, MD, MS, FAAP
Dr. Kristen Wendorf earned her Medical Degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and a Master’s degree in Clinical Research (Epidemiology) from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. She completed her pediatrics residency at UCSF, followed by a public health fellowship with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Since 2017, Dr. Wendorf has specialized in tuberculosis treatment, prevention, and policy at the California Department of Public Health, where she serves as a Public Health Medical Officer in the Tuberculosis Control Branch. Her clinical and policy work focuses on pediatric tuberculosis and multidrug‑resistant TB. She also serves as a clinical consultant for the State of California and contributes to the CDC Curry International TB Center’s pediatric warmline.
