AAPCA1’s Mental Health Committee invites you to a virtual meeting focused on sharing mental health resources and strategies for both patients and providers. We’ll discuss ways to better support individuals facing mental health challenges, highlight available community resources, and explore opportunities to strengthen care in your practice.

Meet The Committee Chairs
Elizabeth Grady, MD, FAAP – Chair
Elizabeth Grady, MD, FAAP is a dedicated pediatrician with over 25 years of experience serving diverse communities in the Bay Area. She has been a Staff Physician at the South San Francisco Clinic of San Mateo Medi
cal Center since 2001, after beginning her career at the Belle Haven Clinic in 1995. Board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 1995, Dr. Grady is deeply committed to supporting children’s health, development, and well-being.
Lisa Leavitt, MD, FAAP – Chair
Dr. Leavitt is a pediatrician at Marin Community Clinics in San Rafael. She is originally from San Jose and attended Santa Clara University for her undergraduate degree followed by UCSF for medical school and residency. Her interests are youth mental health, First 5 and early education, and local advocacy for affordable housing and renter protections. Lisa and her husband live in Marin and have 2 adult sons.
